Leeds Teaching Hospitals is one of the biggest NHS trusts in the country. St James’ Hospital pharmacy department stock 2500 controlled drugs and issue 2000 controlled drug items every month. St James’ University Hospital installed Omnicell medicine management systems to automate the storage and supply of controlled drugs.
